Years ago, the first A-List Ornaments were made by gluing printed pictures from the internet, wrapping paper, mardi-gras beads, pompoms, sequins, and various hoarded colorful objects onto empty cardboard ribbon spools. When I ran out of ribbon spools, I moved on to plastic lids from food tins and my kids' old Play-doh containers. Now I glue professionally printed images onto new canning jar lids and then fancifiy them with treasure from my enormous and ever-expanding sparkly collage stash.
